A thread reminds us on what grounds the state processes everyone’s data and the main protection mechanisms to implement corresponding safety measures. To achieve that, we also have to know regulations and requirements. That is why the university has created the integration of subjects in which technical knowledge about data processing is accorded with legal nuances. This short lecture will conclude the results of a workshop made during one of those subject integrations.
Mari Seeba is currently doing her doctoral studies at Tartu University Institute of Computer Science and is a junior research fellow of information security. She is also in the team creating the Estonian information security standard at RIA. In 15 years, she has previously worked in the information security field at Cybernetica AS as a project manager, at IS as an auditor and consultant. A few years ago, she graduated from TU Institute of Computer Science with a Master’s degree in IT.
