Mental Health and Well-Being

Mental Health and Well-Being

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines mental health as a state of well-being in which people realize their own abilities, cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively and fruitfully, and contribute to the community. But today’s approaches to mental health emphasize that mental health is even more complex and dynamic. We will talk about what every person can do themself to be mentally healthier, stronger and resistant.

Merike Sisask is a professor at Tallinn University School of Governance, Law and Society and the chief editor of the human development report “Mental Health and Well-being”, which will be published in 2023.
