Stefan Koetz, graduate engineer, is currently Head of Mission Critical Networks & Head of Strategic Projects in Ericsson’s Market Area Europe and Latin America (MELA).

The Mission Critical Networks unit was created in June 2024 and is focusing on the key mission critical verticals of Public Safety, Railways, Utilities and Defense.

In addition he is the member of the Management Board of the Ericsson GmbH in Germany.

From June 2022 to January 2023, Mr. Koetz held the role of acting Head of Market Area Europe and Latin America.

In his previous function as the Head of Customer Unit Western Europe, Mr. Koetz was responsible for business in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and in Liechtenstein.

He has been working in the information and communications industry for more than 20 years. He held various management positions, among others at Robert Bosch GmbH and Marconi Communications GmbH. From 2007 to 2010 he was Managing Director of Ericsson AG in Switzerland.

He is married and has four children.
