Estonia—the country of digital society, clean environment and independent minds.
Estonia is a small country of 1 329 460 people in the Baltic Region of Northern Europe. Since regaining its independence with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Estonia has become one of the most digitalised and innovative countries that’s #1 in Europe in a number of unicorns per capita.
Estonia is the first country to function as a digital service, and our citizens and e-residents can get things done fast and efficiently. For example, Estonians can vote online and do the taxes in under 3 minutes. Estonia was also the first nation to provide e-residency and was named “the most advanced digital society in the world” by Wired.
